Ministry is Good

Last night, I experienced my favourite part of ministry — building relationships. The evening started like a normal Sunday evening, rested after a nap. I was watching the Emmy’s and chatting with some people via the wonderful technology of MSN about this, that and other. The night progressed, rather uneventful until sometime between 11pm-midnight.
One of the teens who came to camp a few weeks ago came online and started chatting…before long it was 3am. It was great to get to know this wonderful child of God, we talked about almost everything. It wasn’t until my head hit the pillow that I became tired. I really appreciated the evening and as I rested my head, I remembered why I love ministry — building relationships with people. God is so very good!
