The Vine

for a while, i have thought about getting a tattoo. i was very hesitant because of the pain, the permenancy and never knew what i wanted.
much of my summer was spent reflecting on what it means to be rooted in christ and i was reminded of a vine. if a vine is going to grow and be healthy, it needs to be rooted and nurthered.
this afternoon, i snuck away for an appointment. i went to have this illustration permenantly marked on my body and endured the pain of my first tattoo.
i might write more on this later.
