Last night, I decided to begin to consider decorating the tree for Christmas.  I pulled out the Christmas lights and only one string worked.  That wasn’t going to stop me – "I’ll go to Wal-Mart and get some lights…they’re open 24 hrs this week" I thought to myself.  At 9:30pm last night, I think 90% of the population of Northern Saskatchewan was in the store.  You couldn’t move without walking into someone.

Then when I’d finally had enough of that, I found the shorted checkout line…or so I thought.  There was one person in front of me and I did not move a foot for at least 10 minutes.  I walked out of the store, shaking.  It was the first time I’d thought about "drastic measures".

If I have to go back there this week, I’m waiting until 3am.
