Who ever said that there was no hope for Canada? CanadaPost has come out with Christmas stamps featuring the birth of our Saviour. Take that secular society!
If I get around to mailing out Christmas cards, I’ll be using these. Check them out, click here.
Don’t you mean “HOLIDAY Stamps”!
Dear Shawnm,
These are really a sign of hope that our secular world is becoming more open to Christianity. It first needed to reject the dominant fiath tradition before it could allow for it to be appreciated. I fear in England we will need to go through a much more pronounced good friday before Christianity will see its resurrection here.
God Bless you,

Lieber Kapitän Branch, Grüße vom Vatican!
You’ll forgive me for beginning in my native German–old habits die hard. I said, “Dear Captain Branch, greetings from the Vatican!” I’m heartened that even those outside our holy mother Church, still defend the faith. I too am rather surprised at the secularization of countries such as your Canada. Here in the Vatican we are sometimes so secluded from the outside world, we forget the troubles and trials of those living in more secular states. I enjoy regularly reading your blog for this very reason. Keep fighting for the faith, Captain Branch!
