Now that Spring has sprung there are many wonderful odors in the air – grass, exhaust from the trucks on the road, moldy leaves that should have been raked in the fall, presents from neighboring animals, etc…
I’ve realized that I can counteract those scents with a powerful substance — Starbucks coffee being brewed in my kitchen. The last time I was at Costco, I bought some Starbucks Coffee grounds. It is a wonderful scent that fills the house and pulls you out of bed.
I’d also be willing to wake up to the smell of bread being made…but since I don’t make bread, and haven’t been able to rehire my personal baker, I don’t have that option.
What smell do you like waking up to?
bacon..,mmmmm…bacon

The morning after a night of rain is a beautiful smell to wake up to, but since it doesnt always rain, I would have to say I enjoy the smell of pankakes in the morning.

I love smelling fresh coffee in the morning and waking to my moms muffins on Christmas morning or pancakes. yummy
of course, there’s also the flip side; what smell do you NOT like waking up to?
I wasn’t going to ask that question Joe.
Joe has small kids, so he’s very familiar with THAT smell!
I guess I’m more of a ‘sound’ than a ‘smell’ person. As a kid growing up England, day after day I woke up to the sound of hundreds of birds singing in the trees. I still love that sound. We just don’t seem to have the same numbers of birds here.
